For the water lover, the Atlantic Ocean and beaches are right here. The St. Marys River empties into the Intracoastal Waterway at your doorstep. There are plenty of lakes and freshwater springs in the area, providing the best fishing , both salt water and fresh, swimming, water skiing and boating.  

There are plenty of cultural and entertainment opportunities in the St. Marys area and in nearby Jacksonville, including many fine museums and art galleries, local community theatres, dinner threatres, ballet, opera, a cultural arts center, and the best classical music from the symphony orchestras. You can visit local attractions such as Jeykll Island, Kingsland, and the Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.

Camden County consistently ranks as one of the fastest growing counties in the nation. The major employer in the area is the Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base. Interstate 95 passes right through the city and Interstate 16 is only a short drive away. You can easily access bus and train service or take advantage of the seaport or Jacksonville International Airport, only 20 minutes away.
